Mithril CEO John Skeet isn’t sugarcoating it: the silver deficit isn’t cyclical—it’s structural, and it’s permanent. Speaking at this year’s VRIC conference, Skeet says the packed rooms weren’t driven by hype, but by panic—investors scrambling for real silver exposure in a market starved of primary supply. His answer sits in Mexico’s historic Sierra Madre.

At the district-scale Silver Creek project, drilling has more than doubled a high-grade resource since mid-2024, with a major update imminent. While most silver limps in as a byproduct of base metals, Skeet argues Silver Creek is different: pure, high-grade, and rare. “It’s a problem that’s not going away.”
