The announcement is foundational to lasting global peace. 10,000 meditators represents the square root of one percent of the world’s population. In 1989 when this ratio was previously established for two years all major conflicts ceased.
This included the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan, the end of the Iraq-Iran war which had killed millions, and, most notably and unexpectedly, the end of the Cold War that had threatened the world with nuclear Armageddon for 40 years.
The efficacy of TM meditation in bringing about a better world has been reported in 116 published studies.
